Re: Forgot...

Yeah, I was supposed to spend Sunday at Lumpy and instead I spent the day heavily drugged, in pain in bed. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!

Re: Forgot...

Holy crap! I didn't even notice the lack of sunglasses on you. Jeez, it was bright even with sunglasses on. How are the eyes feeling now?

Also, this looks like above the final crux, but it couldn't be as you led that right? Guess it's all that sun that makes things look so different.

Re: Forgot...

Yeah, I was an idiot. On Sunday I looked like I had been hit in the eyes with a baseball bat. Felt like it too. It was pure hell. They are doing much better. To make matters worse, the sunscreen I was wearing was about 10 years old and useless. I only have a few raw spots left on my face. On the positive side whoever it was in your group that was naively and loudly making fun of me because of my tool selection will now have something to really laugh about since this was indeed a huge mistake, where my tool selection was not.

I'm not sure where I was at in this photo. The whole thing is kind of a blur in more ways than one. Tim lead the crux. I just kept climbing past him and continued to the summit.

Re: Forgot...

Ah, ok, that makes sense. This is right above the crux then.

Not sure who was making fun of the tool selection. I'm loud, but I don't remember rapping on your tools.

Oh well, glad your recovering and can still see. Snow blindness, no fun! :-(
