Pacific Peak seen across McCullough Gulch from the summit of Quandary Peak. I know there are several photos from this vantage, however, NOTE the snow field near the center of the photo. You can see the release line of a huge slab avalanche that swept across the standard route. March 22, 2005

Nice shot. Wind-loaded SW aspect... looks like a good place to avoid in the winter!

No kidding, with the winds through that area, it really loads up on that side.
