Pacific Peak

Pacific Peak
Pacific Peak from Quandary's summit. On the little plateau just below the peak and above the steep, dark cliffs and just barely visible is the lake at 13,400' that, as far as I can tell, is the highest permanent tarn in the United States. The rugged, much-overlooked (no 14ers) Gore Range is in the distance.

Ten-Mile Range, CO-- August 2005
