Hasn't voted | Thanks Brendon. I just try to take enough photos to improve my odds of coming out with a good one. The weather was very cooperative on this day.

| breity | Holy cow! | | Hasn't voted | Hi there! My grandfather's cousin's son was Jake Breitenbach, and I never knew until today that they named a mountain after him! (My family never tells me anything -- they didn't even tell me about Jake until I was well into my 20s and INTO THIN AIR came out. :-) ) Thank you for posting such a gorgeous photo -- I live in Salt Lake City and really need to make a pilgrimage up there some day.
Best wishes,

Hasn't voted | Hi Andrew, it’s cool to learn some family history. This is a very worthy peak to bear Jake's name. The north face is massive and very impressive. The standard route is pretty straightforward, you should definitely go for it!
