It took me 35 minutes from the base of the Little Mother chair lift to the summit. Just followed the chair lift to the top. The actual summit is just behind the lift to the east of a trail headed to the backside of the mountain. There is also a benchmark about 15 feet east of of the "true" summit (six inches difference in elevation).
It was a nice morning trip for me. I was just happy to grab a quick summit without dumping in an 8 hour hike. Also went to the top of the Aspen lift just to see what was over there. The round trip was about 1 hour and 40 minutes with photos, the two summits and the descent.
Note: Get their early to avoid the afternoon thunderstorms.
20 minutes from my front door, i love this mountain all 4 seasons, whether hiking, trail running, skiing, or ski patrolling. the best are the mid-week powder days in winter when you get to earn your turns!! Hint: the true summit is near the top of the Mother chairlift (#2), back in the trees.
