Palisade MountainPalisades towers over the lower Big Thompson canyon and is easily recognizable from the plains. The easiest route involves parking at a small pullout and gate at the top of Snowtop Drive in Cedar Park. From there you can follow a faint trail as it winds around a large but lower point. Since the trail is so short its worth just climbing it for some different views down into Drake. The summit offers views in all directions, includes a large summit register and an Azimuth mark.
