| Camped at Island Lake. Really nice ascent up the ridge to the wonderful little circular lake and on up to the summit. I actually considered the west peak (the one labeled on the map) -which is actually about 250 feet lower - to be the true summit of Panoramic Peak (especially after seeing it from the west). So I headed down the slopes to the west peak overlooking Lake of the Clouds and made plans for more adventures in this beautiful part of the Missions. | |

| A very fine peak in some of the most beautiful country in the state! The views of the Mission Range are truly panoramic. | |
