I attached this route to my Blue Ridge Mountains page, okay? I hope it gets some more notice that way. I need to get out to Crabtree. Even though I've been up and down Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge Parkway, I've somehow never managed to get to Crabtree even though it's so close. Thanks for posting this; it beats the weathered old article on the area I have in a box somewhere.
Sounds like a great idea, thanks. Really nice area out there and some great AT hiking just past there too. Saw some guys ice climbing the falls this weekend.
