Route Climbed: Kelaria-Gerondovrachos-Liakoura-Kelaria Date Climbed: 06. January 2006
We started at ski resort of Kelaria. The lifts lifted us up to the Chapel of Prof. Helias. From there we started climbing first the peak of Gerondovrachos then the peak of Liakoura and then back to the lifts. Nice weather - sunny and cold. Deep snow some times ice. We climbed for about 4,5 hours. Nice view...!!!
Route Climbed: Mountain hut - Gerondovrachos Date Climbed: December 7-8, 2002
I went with 19 fellow climbers from my local club. We stayed in the renovated hut (it's fantastic, I had seen it in its days of decay). Sunday morning we summited Gerondovrachos in knee-deep soft snow and unfortunately zero visibility.
