Patience Pawn Climb

Patience Pawn Climb

Patience Pawn, 5.7, Just up from Ten Pins past Cleopatra, Needles, Custer State Park, SD Great day starter route to get used to the rock, a coarse igneous granite called pegmatite, that is characterized by large well-formed crystals. These crystals make for an amazing number of holds, albeit, not all strong ones. (route page coming) April, 2006 (that is actually local climbing legend Bob Archbold on route, thanks for showing me around!)
