UTM?

The name is very vague and unsearchable. Is there a nearby peak or something that can be used as a reference, for example "West Blahblah Peak"? No one would ever know how to search for this peak by a lone UTM coordinate, and one coordinate alone (nor the lack of a zone) does not pinpoint the peak's location.

Re: UTM?

Hi,

You have made the same criticism of the UTM convention before, and I would refer you to the points I outlined in my previous response. In addition, I invite you to participate in a forum topic I opened today to get more input on the issue.

Best Regards,

- Chris
