Nice hike
Only hiked the road a short way, then cut up through drainages and across benches to the ridge, which we followed to the summit. Very unusual and interesting terrain, well worth the trip. The summit register was back on this day and we signed it.

I did not use the route described on the page for this peak. I followed a semi-obscure trail that roughly goes from the main McCullough Peaks Road (just below McCullough Peak in a large pull-out). It was a bit of a strenuous hike but also pleasant. As of the date I climbed up, the ammo box was resting on top.

Solo in the snow
Climbed on a breezy day with a snowstorm coming in from the west; there was some snow on the ground, but it wasn't too bad with drifts only reaching about a foot in a few places. The summit register has disappeared since I first climbed this peak in September.

Fun HikeVery fun hike and scramble; I almost stepped on a rattlesnake, but got lucky!
