Peak 6476

Standing near the summit of Steep Mountain, I looked back south toward Peak 6476 which I needed to visit again before I could get back onto the regular View Benchmark route in order to return to my car at the trailhead. From the saddle to the top of 6476, I would have to regain almost 500 feet in the soft but fairly deep snow that I had descended. It took me an hour and fifteen minutes to go the 1 1/2 miles back to there. 2-6-12
