First of 4 peaks. I started from the saddle ENE of the peak. It was mostly fine, but there was a thick short section of scrub oak near the beginning.

Mellow Grade Without Trail
I scouted out the area in person and on google and chose wisely. The western and northern slopes are chocked full of scrub oak and scree. The east side was mellow walking among the junipers. Beautiful evening up there after Monday clinic.
