| Marched the TMCC students up this guy from Ophir Creek for an outdoor wilderness survival class. Great snow year for the region. | |

| Me and a friend used split-boards to summit the peak. We walked through the meadows for only about a 1/4 mile and then skinned up and over a small gully to a col only about 180-200 from the summit, there was a beautiful open bowl that led to open trees with expansive views of the valley over 4000 ft below. We descended the NNE slope on our boards down into Ophir Creek Canyon and then skinned back up the canyon and through the meadows to the vehicle. Very easy quick trip considering the quality of skiing and views. | |

| I took the boardwalk route to the summit. I took the Ophir Creek Trail on the way back. It was cloudy, but views were pretty nice. It was pretty warm, but large patches of snow remained throughout the forest. The final stretch to the summit had little snow. | |
