| Aproached from the West Ten Sleeep trailhead. Got caught in a storm at about 11,500. Waited it out and made the summit. If you want to get away from the crowds this is a good one. About 16 miles roundtrip. | |

| Approached from Schoolhouse Park and took the trail up to Lake Angeline. My rough estimate is 15 miles round trip. Note that there are no registration forms for the wilderness at the trailhead, so you need to pick them up down in town or from a nearby trailhead that does have them. I keep a stack in the drawer at home. It felt like summer was just about over standing on the summit, fresh snow that refused to melt remained from earlier in the week. I probably added at least an extra half hour to my trip talking to the holiday traffic on the trail as I headed out. All in all, another enjoyable day in the mountains. | |
