Peak on Road to Askole

Travelling towards Askole on Jeep is very interesting. It is more then 8 hours ( 87 kilometer ) ride from Skardu the capital city of Baltistan. Askole is the last vehicle-accessible mountain village on the Karakoram. This is the Pakistan’s highest 3050-M and remote village gateway to highest mountains and longest glaciers of the world. This village is very famous among mountaineers and trekkers.

Spellbinding!

What an incredible site to behold. It is powerful enough even in the image, but what in reality. The steepness and scale of the foreground, which then centres the peak - I believe that I would fall over backwards!

I should like to sit here for a week, camp, and eat delicious meals - before climbing.

Thanks for your vote and valued comments.Travelling towards Askole is very interesting, You can take some impressive pictures,but it is depend on the photographer.I am just learning.

Well, Karrar, if you are just learning, then you have a natural talent. We should wonder how your photos will become when you become a master. It will not take long then. I myself am not at all a master, only that I can recognise a great image.
