It's unfortunate that they've added 2+ miles to the climb by moving the trailhead to the Dickerman parking lot, but it's DEFINITELY worth it. The trail is easy going- I wouldn't call it "steep", just sustained after the water crossing. The first viewpoint is breathtaking, the second one at the first tarn left us speechless. The fun begins after the tarn- and it's a helluva lot of fun. Bagged the true summit.
We have taken this route many times in 2009 & 2010 to do Forgotten and Stillaguamish...

My buddie Josh and I went out to scramble this sucka but we turned around due to too much avy danger. Josh started a few slab slides on the way up. Ill be back...
