BANNF National park for the first time

by JoeyGNJ973 » Sat Aug 05, 2017 1:25 pm

Hi, in mid September was looking to go to BANNF for the first time, and was looking for some suggestions. Only have about 4.5 days. Would like to know some of the must do's along with a smaller short overnight trip in the backcountry.

I liked Yoho National Park. We went up to the Abbot Pass Hut.

You will not regret it. :-)

Mount Temple! The SW ridge is an improbable walk-up with incredible views. It's just about the only easy Rockies 11,000-foot peak.
