Best time to visit Machu Pichu?

I am planning to visit Peru sometime. Would you please tell me which month(s) would be the best time to visit? I would not like to visit during the rainy season. Also, can you recommend any moderately-priced tour companies?

June to August are the dry season with the rainy season starting in September. There are numerous tour groups. Check out SA Explorers for information. I have friends who liked Orquidea enough to use them more than once. Since trail access is limited you have to book in advance unless your trip is very flexible. Cheers!

I visited in November and found the weather to be perfect. Warm days, cool nights, etc. Fantastic. Good luck, and enjoy your journey.
