Best Way to Complete Diablo-Chelan Loop?

Best Way to Complete Diablo-Chelan Loop?
I'm planning to hike from Diablo Lake to Stehekin in September. I want to hike back to Hwy 20 by a different route, ending at Rainy Pass. It looks like I could use the PCT, or take the Rainbow Creek Trail to either McAlester Trail or Rainbow Lake Trail. Which way would people recommend?
