Chamonix in July

Is July 8-16 too late for snow/ice climbs in Cham?
Migot Spur, Chere Coulior, Gervasutti on Tour Ronde, etc.

Depends how warm it's been, but in general a lot of the "classic" snow and ice climbs (not the modern ice/mixed gullies) are still in. Chere couloir was fat and beautiful around July 10 last year. Most of this stuff was historically first climbed in the summer. As I understand it, lately August has been getting too hot (rockfall/shitty snow) for safe climbing in certain places, but it depends. I was on the Kuffner Ridge mid August last year and was scared shitless because it was 60 deg F, there were literally waterfalls coming down the walls on both sides of the ridge, and the snow in that famous SP ridge album just did not want to support my boots on the traverse...

Chere, Migot and Gervasutti will prob be in very fine conditions in july.
All of them are summer routes, so I don´t think you will have any problems.
