Aren't mountains "she's" not "he's"? (at least they're women in my book)

I think the politically correct expression is now an "it". Even the Royal Navy has stopped calling their ships for she's, now they're just "it". A shame really.

But only in english, in german it belongs to the mountain.

Eiger = he
Matterhorn = it
Dent Blanche = she

In German is different as in English. In (Swiss-) German the most mountains are HE (masculin)
