Yeah, I forgot to mention the views. Seeing the Peuterey Ridge is worth a trip to Italy.

There were a lot of tents (ca. 10 in July 2005) on the Valle Blanche just a few minutes away from the Refuge Cosmique. Normally it´s not allowed but if you stay there only for 1 or 2 nights normally it´s no problem and you get no trouble.
Heard the same from other climbers in 2006.

It always looks so squalid to me there. But maybe that´s just my opinion

I preferred sleeping in the Refuge Cosmiques, it is a very good and clean hut with very good lunch and breakfast. So why sleeping in a cold tent when I can have comfort?
