The Tete Rouse hut lies at the base of the Grand Couloir - so it's the first thing you have to do in the morning (when it is safe) and adds 1.5 hours to the ascent. If you return to that hut, the couloir is the last thing you do that day, when it is more unsafe. The hut is smaller than the Gouter but nice, I thought. More laid back than the Gouter
