I think i'm heading down from Oct 6-Oct 12 with three other peeps. If things doesn't work for me with these dates, I will have to reschedule and join you guys. I'm buying tickets before the end of August in any case. Alaska Airlines has good deals for the dates i'm going.

Climb on!

Bill & Alp... it looks like i'll be bussing it to Tlach when I arrive on the 17th, and see about spending the night at Senior Gerar's when I get there. If he's full, I'll either catch a ride on one of his shuttles or walk to the hut. ...your thoughts? What time do you expect to arrive at Sr. Gerar's? Since I haven't heard back from him yet, I don't know his policy on sleeping accomodations or how many he can accomodate... but I'm sure it'll be packed... i guess any more than 30 have to sleep on the floor, and I'd rather just go and sleep on the mountain if that is the case. Have you had any luck contacting him?

Mike,

We actually stayed with the Reyes family (Servimont) when we were there. I know that Gerar is also highly recommended. I am still trying to figure out the logistics/dates. Lets try to coordinate - I will send you an email at some point today or tomorrow.

Sorry guys, I just booked a trip to Mendoza to climb Aco in December. This peak has been at the top of my wish list for a long time and an opportunity presented itself to climb with a few SPers that I couldn't pass up. Best of luck on Orizaba...!

Hey Alp... Best of luck on Aconcagua! It's awesome that you're going, but I'm bummed that you won't be joining us. You gotta jump on that. Let us know how it goes. If by some chance it falls apart, you know where we'll be. I'm hoping on Aconcagua next December, myself. Good luck Bro! Mike.

There is a good chance that I'm leading a semi-guided trip around then. i.e. my friends are paying my way to take them through Mexico and to the summit. Schweet.

I don't know the dates yet but it would almost certainly be around xmas-new years.

Hey G - Courtney here. Keep Eiji and I posted on your plans, we'll be in Mex for La Mal, Toluca, and Orizaba from Jan 4-10. It would be cool to hook up.
