I'd like to revise this topic because, since I obtained a 22-inch monitor, I seem to be creating pages that don't display well for folks with smaller monitors.
1) Are there any ways that I can "force" the content of my pages to display well on a more flexible range of monitor sizes?
2) What other tips/tricks/hints do folks employe to avoid building page that display poorly on smaller monitors?

Thank you so much for your very informative reponse, especially this trick:
"A good tool for checking whether or not your page looks presentable is to use www.screen-resolution.com. All you have to do is paste your page's URL into the text box, and then select what resolution you want to view it at. Simple!"
I will save that link to my HTML practice page.
Thanks again for sharing your expertise!
