by Brad Mastros » Wed Feb 06, 2008 3:40 pm

Does anyone know if this road to Lee Vining Canyon was plowed yet?
Is there a way to find out?

In the interest of not opening a new thread... Any word on a plowing schedule? Looking to head into LVC Wednesday morning. If the road is rendered impassable tonight, think it'll be cleared by then? Thanks!

Just a conditions update for everyone:

The road is easily passable.

Chuinard falls has several good lines with conditions varying from dripping chandelier ice to bottomless dinner plating (it was 25deg F) to one stick wonderful styrofoam (rare). Main wall has one line of steep/thinnish continuous ice. BH is bone dry :(

Approach is post holing though snow covered talus :( :(

Was us weekend of the 5th right after big storm. Broke trail the whole way up. We were about to have a LONG approach when all of a sudden the plow came and cleared all the way to the plant! Score
