WTT: Mountain Hardwear Lamina 0 for 20-30 degree bag

by hucksquaw » Tue Mar 09, 2010 5:13 pm

I have a MH Lamina 0 degree bag that I want to trade for a 20-30 degree bag thats in good condition. Make me an offer.

My bag is in very good shape - only a couple years old.

Just curious, why you trading down to a lower rated bag? No more winter trips?

Has the bag been washed/any other reasons it would lose loft?

I have a 6 month old north face aleutian. Not the greatest bag, but 20 degree sythetic, holds up to snow and wet. Pretty loosely rated, been warm at 17 degrees, and cold at 25, so dunno what happened there, but would be willing to trade with a few extra bucks thrown in? Let me know.

I see you're from SD, I actually live in chico, but am from orange county and visit often.

I'm downgrading because I already have a cold weather bag and would like a light bag for alpine bivies.

It's never been washed.

oh, and my bag is a short btw. That might change things if you're over 5'8"

i think im looking for something a little lighter than the aleutian unfortunately
