I've never done it, but I keep dreamin' . . . ski the road (20+ miles in ) back into Vermilion/Edison lake. I figure it to be a two day trip in and then back . . . spend some time digging in and soaking at Mono hot springs . . . one of these days (yeah, when I buy that AT set-up)
