Berner Oberland conditions

by MikeLell » Sat May 22, 2010 11:15 pm

Off to the Berner Oberland first week of June (Grindelwald, Bluemlisalp and Grimselpass areas). Would be very interested to know about snow conditions in the area. I'm assuming snow line is quite low for this time of year. Has anyone here been up in the high mountains recently? What routes are likely to be in condition?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Thanks Diego,

Looks like I might be needing skis or snow shoes to head up the Aar Glacier.

Any more info on the region would be appreciated.
