I'm in the preliminary stages of planning a trip to Peru next summer (2012). I was there a few years ago, but didn't make it to the CB. This time I will and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good guide service. Thinking about Ishinca Valley routes, or anything in the Huaraz region, but nothing too ambitious (like Alpomayo).
Anyways, I've had some contact with Peruvian Andes Adventures http://www.perutrekkingclimbing.com/peru-trekking-tour-pgs/climbing-in-peru.html
and they seem pretty solid, but I'd like some outside info. My girlfriend is from Peru and I speak enough Spanish to get by, so we're not looking for an American outfit. We'd rather our money stay local.
Thanks in advance!
