Messner a SP lurker?

by ozarkmac » Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:23 pm

Reinhold Messner shared ExcitableBoy's splendid SP article "Alpinism 101" on his Facebook page. That's cool.

Congrats to ExcitableBoy! Seems like that is a pretty high honor, one to brag about. Or humbly brag. :)

As in the newlywed with the hot wife- Hotoven? Congrats as well!!

I'd like to point out that I co-wrote that article with Hotoven. Having RM 'like' it on his FB page is pretty cool.

Wow. Yes, I think that is something worth getting excitable about. Or hot as an oven.

I'd be surprised if that was actually him that was running that page. There are a lot of unofficial fan pages on there. Still, considering the popularity of that page it's pretty great all the same, congrats and thanks for the hard work.

Yeah I was excited to see Messner have it on his facebook. I think I'll have to make a facebook now just to see the comments people left on it.

I'm sure he would not have seen the article if it had not made it to the front page.

That may well be the case. It is set up as a fan page. But it is a very cool and discreet one, with a Euro flair. Plus, consistent with RM's views, its focus is on the environment, politics and education. And there's some Yeti stuff thrown in too.
