heading to acon in 2 days!! not with MT, but they're definitely the frontrunner for denali (if i go). would be curious to hear your comparisons of the physical demands of denali vs acon...

i'll come back to read this at the end of the month :)

I found Aco harder than Denali, strange I know..

That extra 1,000 meters of elevation might have something to do with it.

I think it is the endless boring scenery on Aco. And I did the "pretty" route! The polish w/ traverse to the normal route. Not the prettiest I've seen.

I guess that is why they call it Aconslogua.
