I heard that they technically should not be a state, but a territory. When they got voted into statehood, they cheated by having people vote multiple times to ensure there was enough population to allow a state. Don't know if this is true, but interesting non the less. I wouldn't mind living there, the only problem is, no one wants a 3 hour commute to work, if they can ever find any.
