Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Closure

Postby Cy Kaicener » Sun Mar 18, 2012 12:54 pm

Hikers are stranded at the upper tram station because of high winds above 50 mph. Snow level is down to 2500 ft.
Some will be able to hike down.

The tram has re-opened. Hikers were lucky that they kept the tram building open last night. Not so during the previous storm which caused a big controversy. There is two feet of fresh snow at the top

Update - The tram has just reopened (Sunday)
