The big notebook that is sitting on the table in the Kain Hut.

There is a book with route info there (kain hut)?

I may see you up there Bruce, if you are going in the first part of August.

Here is a thread from the past. I think you may find your answer there:

Folks leave all their past printouts there which are recycled, ironically some times I actually grab my own writings from the hut, printed out from SP by others, to remind myself of the intricacies of a particular route. Thus the hut does have beta on most all the routes. Summit Post has beta on most, if not all, within your ability. You pass the hut on way to the campground.

I'm just gonna throw a thumbs-up for Dow's beta. Worked out great for me and my partner at Red Rock a couple months ago. You could do worse than going off his beta alone. Just sayin'.

Carried the Mountain Project app on my ipod. It was lighter than the guide book.

I posted a TR on my trip to Bugaboos. We used the Piche guide- it was great.
