RMNP and IPW from the Airplane

Thought people might like to see these images, these were taken on 12/30/12 on my flight from Chicago to Eagle, we flew over the Divide just south of Shoshoni in the IPW. Enjoy! (Click the links below for the larger versions)

Mike, I'm glad to know I'm not the only Mountain Nerd that flies with my face pressed against the glass picking out familiar mountains. :)

PS: Your routing plus the wing structure in the foreground on the photos suggests you were on United, no?

Sarah, Happy New Year! I knew you would appreciate these, it sure is fun to stare out the window and try and figure out what I am looking at!

Oh and it was American actually, United used to fly this route to but doesn't anymore.
