Hey everyone-
I just had my very new Spantiks (size 41) and brand new and unused MSR lightning ascent snowshoes (women's size 22, graphite color) stolen from my family's garage in Las Vegas. This really blows, not only because they were painfully expensive, but because I need them for a remote expedition that I'm supposed to leave for in about a month. If you happen to notice these somewhere, please please PLEASE send me a message. (My glacier glasses were also stuffed inside the boots, but figured those are far too general purpose to ever be found, unlike the boots or possibly the snowshoes.) Why can't thieves just steal my old and crappy gear??

Did they steal other stuff, or just the climbing gear? If other stuff, it's probably all going to a flea market or similar. Check Craigslist or e-bay.

Any chance your folk's homeowners' insurance will cover the cost? You'd be surprised what some policies will cover
