Bull Creek Pass Conditions - Henry Mtns?

by Castlereagh » Tue May 28, 2013 11:26 pm

Anyone been down there recently and know how road conditions are following this winter? I'm thinking of taking friends down there in about a week...have a 4Runner, tire plugs, compressor, etc. But still would like to avoid REALLY nasty road conditions. I'm expecting things to get a little rough, but between the Notum Road approach and Lonesome Beaver, which one's the lesser of two evils right now?

I can't post current conditions, but judging by the snowpack, the road should be in pretty good condition. I wouldn't worry too much.

Even if you couldn't drive all the way to the pass, you should get close. The Lonesome Beaver side tends to be in better condition, but snowbanks also tend to stay slightly longer just east of the pass.
