Ahem... perhaps that the snow cave that Mark and I dug up there earlier this summer has something to do with this? Mark has already confessed earlier: Alps International Expedition 2013. Mind you, we were just off the actual summit, just a little bit towards Mont Blanc de Courmayeur, so that we wouldn't suddenly be woken up by the first summiteers of the day falling into our hole. But maybe our hole got filled up somehow with snow sliding off the summit...
