It's truly sad to hear about the death of a fellow alpine enthusiast. I always want to know what we can learn from them though. It is a dangerous game. He fell at about 9500... Do we know the cause of the accident? Was it a rappel error or were they unroped? I wonder if this will be mentioned in the 2014 AAI Accidents book.
