Treking to Lenin Peak basecamp, Kyrgyzstan.
Best time: July - August
Activity: Trekking in Kyrgyzstan.
Duration: 7 days
Day 1. Early morning flight to Osh and transfer to Kojo-Kelen village. Acquaintance with the daily life of the local people. In the village you will be immersed into the last century life. Here you can find water mills and farming. Houses made of red clay compliment the landscape as if they are a part of the nature. Home stay with a local family.
Day 2. Transfer under Jyptyk pass (3350 m). Trekking to the Jyptyp pass where there is a wonderful view of the Alai Valley and the majestic Pamir. When the weather is good it is possible to see seven thousand meter peaks - Lenin Peak, Communism Peak, Korjnevskaya Peak as well as Kurumdy Peak. Descent to the Alai valley and transfer to the Achik-Tash base camp, located under Lenin peak at an altitude of 3600 m. The camp is located on a field of edelweiss. You’ll be accommodated in tents.
Day 3. Trekking to the shoulder of Petrovskii Peak. Descent to the camp 1. Overnight in tents.
Day 4. Hike to the «Puteshestvennikov” pass which allows a view of Lenin glacier and the peak itself (7134 m). After that climb up to the Camp One located on the moraine at 4200m. and spend the night there.
Day 5. Today we will go up to the Home Peak (4600 m) and return back to the camp 1. Overnight.
Day 6. Today we will came back to Base camp .
Day 7. Transfer to Osh. City tour and an excursion to Suleiman-Too mountain. The program is finis
