Bought this pack for the NE Buttress of Mt Goode in the North Cascades. Enough storage for bivy gear (45 liters) with expansion area to 50 liters. Two ice axe loops for dual tools, and waist level loops for quick, temporary storage. Crampon pouch on the back with drain holes means easy access at the toe of the glacier, and no crampon pouch necessary when slipping them back in once on the rock buttress. Loops and straps for skis. Large top pocket (5 liters) with key clip for ready access; smaller zipper pocket in the flap for cell phone, guidebook, map, smaller items. 3000 cu in max.
