RMNP - Glacier Gorge Trailhead. Peak Bagging.

Hi All,

Good day.
I would like to attempt a peak from Glacier Gorge Trailhead.
What I am hearing from the Park Service that, there are no trails going to any of the peak - it is all cross country.
My Question is - How difficult is the routes from Black Lake for the below peaks

Chiefs Head Peak 13579 ft / 4139 m II, Class 3
Pagoda Mountain 13497 ft / 4114 m II, Class 3
McHenrys Peak 13327 ft / 4062 m II, Class 3
Powell Peak 13208 ft / 4026 m II, Class 2, Mod Snow
Taylor Peak 13153 ft / 4009 m II, Class 2, Easy Snow
Otis Peak 12486 ft / 3806 m II, Class 2, Easy Snow
Half Mountain 11482 ft / 3500 m II, Class 2

Are these difficult to find/navigate?
From Black lake is it open meadows or more forests?
I can navigate better if i see the open space and know which way i am going.
Which one is the nearest Peaks I can climb from Black Lake/Loch?

I am expecting your experience of hiking in those areas.
I would like you to be as detail as possible.

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks and Regards
TG

Are you talking summer ascents or sometime soon? Makes a big difference.

BTW, just up the road at Bear Lake TH is the Flattop Mountain Trail, which does go to a summit if a hike-up is what you prefer. And you can hike up Hallett from Flattop.
