San Juans Aerial Conditions Update

by Sarah Simon » Thu Jan 24, 2013 5:00 am

While not as dry as the Front Range and Sangre de Cristos, the San Juans are hardly blanketed in a smooth white covering of deep snow. From United Flight #6440 LAX - COS 23 January 2013:

Silverton, Colorado

Someplace east of Siverton, perhaps Lake City vicinity ???

Also, I saw what looked like San Luis Peak, and the eastern San Juans are dry, dry, dry.
Go climb a mountain
