Does anyone have any current info on the Sonora pass area? Is it still good for ski/snowboarding? What about camping? The Road to Leavitt Lake? Current pictures?

The road to leavitt was still blocked a couple weeks ago. Sorry. Most recent beta I got.

FS campgrounds all seemed to be open.

I'm sure you can earn turns, but more dirt on the approaches now.

Thanks for the info. I am hoping to get a few earned turns in this weekend on the return from Mammoth.

I would suspect the snow bridges are suspect near the deadmans curves.

Jerry Dodrill was up in the region last weekend. Maybe pm him.

Gate still closed, unfortunately. Snow is fading fast on Sonora. Beautiful drive though. We ended up snowboarding at Mammoth Sunday after a great hike up Morrison Creek to White Fang. Stopped short of the summit but had a blast. I can put away my snowboard now...
