I'm staying in Hinterthal for a couple of days early next week. The idea is to climb something locally, but we know nothing about the area. I'll be buying a guidebook as soon as we arrive, but in the meantime I'd really appreciate some personal recommendations from anyone who knows the area well. What we're looking for is two high quality long easy/middle grade rock climbs, grades from III to V+ maybe. Preferably routes finishing on or near a summit. Sport or trad - we don't mind (well, trad is more fun!). Ideally the routes should be do-able in a day from the valley, and minimal driving from Hinterthal. Am I asking too much? Thanks!
