Suggested added feature to SP

by Kiefer » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:24 pm

With all the new bells & whistles and hood ornaments on SP lately,
figured I'd throw out an idea that would be of some use...

When uploading trip reports, mountain/area pages, what-have-you...
how feasable would it be to be able to save one's work in an 'inactive' status, viewable only by the poster until
the submission is ready to post publically?
This would probably curtail the 'work in progress' pages and enable people to upload stuff in increments so we don't don't have to punch
everything out all at once.
Just a thought...

Especially if the submission date would show as the date the completed page was submitted, not begun. That way, page authors could still have their completed work show on the What's New page while having as much time as they deem necessary to get it done.

About ALBUMS
I think it that the possibility to order photos by creation date could be useful

What I do prior to post a new page is to try every section out at the end of one of my lesser visited pages. Doing this I only have to post the new page once.
