I'm assuming that you probably know the culprit doesn't lurk here on Summitpost, so I'm wondering about the rant.

Also, this from Mountain Project: "Barber has pleaded for years to remove the bolts and finally returned in the summer of 2011 and removed them; as they were not added by him or with his permission."

Sounds pretty apt to me.

Edit: That's Henry Barber, BTW.

They should call the pople that do this Bobbitts. I found this on that there Wiki thing.
After assaulting the "route," Lorena left the "base" with the severed "bolt", drove a short while, then rolled down the car window and threw the "bolt" into a field. Realizing the severity of the incident, she stopped and called 911. After an exhaustive search, the "bolt" was located, packed in ice, and taken to the "base"l
